Off to Work stands with you

We would like to pass on our thoughts to all those in our team who have been badly affected by the recent videos of injustice and discrimination, and even more so to those who have experienced injustice and discrimination in your own lives.

Discrimination is simply wrong. It is a disservice to our society creating hatred, disfunction, distrust and separation where we need unity and trust. It cannot be allowed to continue.

On behalf of all the team at Off to Work we will not stand for prejudice, discrimination - positive or negative, of any kind and we will ensure that our policies and actions support a culture of inclusivity and care for our team.

We will continuously review our terms, communication, actions, policies and teams to ensure that we maintain and develop our culture of inclusivity at all times.

We are committed to continually learning, developing and review our understanding and procedures to ensure that we are never assuming that best practise is being undertaken.

We will seek advice and help to ensure that we are getting policies and procedures which reflect and embrace all our team.

We will always listen to and support our team members ensuring any concerns are investigated and action taken to eradicate current and potential future issues.

In the wise words of Desmond Tutu “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.” We will only work with clients and suppliers who openly demonstrate equality to all and we will speak out against discrimination and injustice where we see it.

We know and accept that we will never be perfect but will continually strive to do the best for you, our team, be it through tough trading periods or successful times.
